At Eye Specialists of Illinois we have implemented procedures and protocols recommended by the Illinois Department of Health as well as the American Academy of Ophthalmology in our office to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff and our patients. Below are some but not limited to all actions we have in place during the Covid 19 pandemic.
-We have limited the number of patients we are seeing on a daily basis to accommodate the need for social distancing.
-We have acquired an additional waiting area as our practice continues to grow to include an entire space next door to allow for spacing of patients.
-All people including doctors and staff are screened before entering the office which includes screening questions as well as having temperatures taken.
-The staff and technicians are taking extra precautions by sanitizing every examination room and equipment between each patient as well as regular sanitizing of office furniture.
-Masks are worn at all times by the entire staff.
-All patients are required to wear a mask.
